About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Administrator / Coordinator to join our clients Exploration Department based in Perth. This position will be Monday to Thursday (Neg) working 32 hours per week in their Belmont office with the occasional site travel required. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in the mining industry with previous exposure with SharePoint software.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
QAQC of hard copy reports against digital copies. Upload to managed systems
QAQC of reports & items in the library; upload to managed systems
Maintaining a valid and accessible catalogue of all Information Centre resource.
Assist in the archiving of items within the library and offsite storage administration.
Adding open file information from websites to the catalogue.
Accession and distribute new serials issues
Discharge of loans and re-shelving of items
Assist staff in locating materials required in both current shelves and archives
Preferred Background / Industry Experience:
Reporting to the Information Officer, you will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft programs, and good keyboard skills. Previous experience in a similar role and both initiative and an outstanding attention to detail are considered essential for this role. Experience in SharePoint is preferred, but not essential. You must also share Rio Tinto???s commitment to health, safety, environment and communities.
Your primary functions in this role will be to provide library and administrative assistance to the Information Officer and the wider Australasia Region.
