About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a Project Controls Lead to join our client Rio Tinto, based in Perth withad-hoc site travel to the Pilbara.This role will provide effective technical and governance capability in planning and cost controls via collaborative engagement with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Managing a team of planners and cost analysts

• Accurate Schedule development, maintenance, updates & reporting

• On time delivery of reports

• Change management -trends, risks & opportunity identification

• Analysis of Schedule and progress data, and identify deviations to plan

• Provide schedule and progress measurement analysis on contractor schedules

• Ensure accommodation forecasting data is updated and accurately reflected in forecast

• Effective and accurate cost forecasting & reporting

• Effective communications with Delivery Team

• Analysis of cost to identify deviation to plan

• Effective management of Projects Close out & Capitalisation

• Providing updates to stakeholders in how projects are tracking

Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience in Project Controls

• Sound knowledge of Project Management life cycle

• Change Management and forecasting experience

• High levels of competency using Microsoft applications including MS Projectand Excel,and other business apps including Power BI, Primavera P6, PRISM

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Current C Class Drivers Licence
