About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our clients Procurement Services. This position is Perth Based working Monday to Friday with frequent site travel, expectation to travel to site is every fortnight.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivery and management of NPI and Electrical, Instrumentation and Control projects on brownfield sites.

  • Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders which include internal Operational Projects personnel, contractors, consultants, and the broader Fortescue family

  • Drive schedule improvements to reduce delivery timeframes safely

  • Deliver cost and capital effective solutions to improve the project???s capital intensity whilst delivering the projects scope on time and within budget safely

  • Provide effective and strategic reporting and communications of project performance on a regular basis

  • Demonstrated experience to deliver unique projects safely and on time.

  • Relentless focus on the deliverables including agility v???s perfection

  • Interpret and implement Engineering design discipline and specification.

Skills & Experience

  • 5yrs + Electrical experience. Trade or Degree qualified highly regarded.

  • Project Management qualification highly regarded

  • High commitment to safety and good knowledge of lifecycle hazards

  • Extensive Project Management experience including the delivery of large, complex and multi discipline projects

  • Experience with project budgeting and cost control

  • Experience managing multiple contractor groups

  • Ability to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to lead and motivate teams

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence

  • Results driven, responsible and accountable

  • Ability to manage under pressure and adapt quickly to change

  • Great problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
