About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a suitably experienced self-motivated Project Officer to provide support in rolling out of a Driver Safety System (DSS) into 200 light vehicles being built by 3 different Toyota dealers in Perth. The roster would be 5:2 (M-F), 40 hrs/week based at the Operations Centre with adhoc travel to dealerships (RTIO vehicle available if required).The role will have a forecasted duration till February with a Christmas break.


Tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Regular engagement with the 3 dealerships

- Managing the logistics of moving DSS parts from Centurion when required

- Plan installs for Maddington, Newtown and Melville Toyota (high level)

- Manage and communicate the installation schedule details to dealerships to allow for parts ordering (detailed with some spares in case of delays etc)

- Oversee and arrange the logistics of installs, book transport pickup for Maddington and Newtown, confirm delivery of vehicles to Westrac and return upon completion

- Oversee and arrange the logistics of installs for Melville at their installation premises (Bibra Lake), confirm vehicles are available

- Confirm vehicles completed each day for each dealer

- Confirm Installation document is received for each asset installed

- Confirm vehicles are reporting on DSSi and are in the correct DSSi Fleet

- Confirm invoice for each vehicle is correct and OK for payment

- Maintain a log of vehicles planned for each dealer

- Maintain a log of vehicles being transported to site

- Maintain an issues and actions log

- Maintain a log of completed vehicles, non-conformances, install docs received, reporting, in correct fleet, invoice received

- Produce a weekly and monthly summary of installs completed, issues, improvement opportunities

Skills and Experience

- Relevant experience in project officer role

- WA Manual Class C drivers license

- Ability to pass pre employment medical process
