Project Quality Manager

About the Position:

In partnership with our leading global Oil & Gas Client, WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Quality Manager for a fixed term, full time contract based within West Perth. This exciting pipeline project will extend till Mid 2024, holding an Monday to Friday roster with competitive remuneration packages on offer for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Ensure the definition and implementation of the PQMS and the identification, preparation and distribution of needed Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Ensure that the integrity of the Company QMS is maintained when changes are made to the system for the project

  • Ensure that the correct implementation of the Project QMS is checked and monitored through the planning of quality audits

  • Ensure that the correct implementation of planned quality audits, taking in account all project processes, including the issue of relevant audit reports

  • Planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements

  • Conduct external audit to Vendors and Subcontractors QMS

  • Plan and allocate Quality resources to the various area of the project, managing them in liaison with involved Quality functions

  • Participates in Project Management meetings, ensuring coordination between Quality activities and Project Management activities, supporting the Project Manager in relations with the Client and with the Authorities responsible for quality matter

  • Ensure the preparation and issue of QC specifications for the works, coordinating and agreeing the checks by the Technical Departments and Client

  • Ensure management of nonconformities, promoting appropriate actions in order to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes

  • Ensure the management of cost of Non Quality process

  • Collect and analyse project quality data also in order to organize and lead the Project Quality Management Review

  • Report Project information and data to Company's Quality Manager by means of Corporate methodologies and tools and keep the Project Quality Reporting tools updated

Skills and Experience:

??? Demonstrated experience in a Quality Manager or Similar Position, with a minimum of 5 years experience within Oil & Gas, Resource or Mining Industries

??? Strong communication, time management and organisation skills with a positive attitude and ability to drive communications across other departments within an corporate environment

??? Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite?

??? Current Australian 'C' class driver licence

???Ability to Pass a full Oil & Gas Pre Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screen

??? Must have Full working rights within Australia.
