About the Role
Workpac is currently seeking experienced Project Supervisors for Civil/Bulk Earthworks Projects in regional SA. This role will be site based and you are expected to work on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Adelaide. DIDO options are available with travel allowances. Day shift only or day and night shift. You will be working closely with the Senior Management Team and reporting to the Project Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring project activities are completed safely, within budget, and on schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Leading from the front and driving our culture and vision to lead the industry through safety;
Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules;
Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements;
Providing effective leadership and supervision
Periodically assessing employee performance
Resolving problems and conflict arising within the crew;
Providing timely and accurate information to meet management and Client requirements;
Maintaining and adhering to the scheduling of project activities;
Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client;
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Management (or equivalent experience/qualification);
3+ years of experience in supervisory/management role within the mining and/or civil industry;
Demonstrated understanding of mining and/or civil plant and equipment operations and maintenance;
Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc;
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings;
Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation;
Pass a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
As the Projects are often in remote and regional Australia, you will be required to work on sites which are often hot, dry, dusty and/or humid.
