About the Role
12 month contract,Â 2 and 1 10.5/day Mon-Sat and 7 hours Sun( some flexibility with rostering available).
Normal time: $65.79 per hour + super
Time & a half: $92.11 per hour + super
Double time: $118.42 per hour + super
The role of the Project Supervisor will beÂ to ensure that the Concrete process is carried out in a cost effective manner with measurement of key inputs and outputs being the basis for constant improvement and at all times taking into account customersâ needs
Production of ConcreteÂ
Production of concrete in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Review orders for the day.
Manage rostering of trucks and people.
Effective and efficient ticketing and scheduling of jobs.
Batching (manual or automated process).
Control production of concrete including mixing time, slump control and water addition.
Continually improve truck throughput in the plants.
Regular customer liaison where applicable.
Constant monitoring of work in progress and pending contracts.
Provide feedback of customer needs to Supply Manager.
Maintain strong customer relationships.
Order raw materials to meet daily production requirements and ensure minimum
stock levels are maintained.
Raw material data goods receipt.
Regular maintenance of trucks and plant as directed by the production supervisor:
Daily Operator Checklist to be completed
Ensure a high standard of truck and mixer cleanliness including internal bow cleanliness.
Undertake regular housekeeping activities. Assist with yard duties and perform various tasks as directed.
Ensure consistent high quality of product through:
Inspection of concrete in the mixer to ensure conformance to the nominated specification.
Â Ensuring slump of each load is within tolerance.
To produce and get concrete âout the gateâ.
To work closely with the Supply Manager to achieve the efficient and cost effective operation at the site, that meets customer service requirements.
To engage with all plant staff and drivers and provide strong leadership in the areas of health and
safety, the environment, operations management, cost management and operational improvement.
