About The Role

WorkPac are seeking a Project Supervisor with an electrical trade background to join Rio Tinto's Supply Chain Services team within Sustaining Capital on a FIFO 8/6 roster to Dampier. The successful candidates will provide site contractor management, construction expertise and implementation skills to deliver projects safely in a sustainable, timely and cost-effective way.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that all site construction activities comply with Rio Tinto standards and policies for HSE.

• Provide safety leadership and coaching through daily field leadership.

• Assist the engineers for quality assurance of project deliverables.

• Provide advice on the implementation of construction management plans.

• Complete accurate and timely reporting documentation.

• Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder and end user engagement on site.

Skills & Experience

• Contractor management and construction supervision experience in the mining sector.

• Trade qualified Electrician with A Grade Electrical Licence.

• Current WA C Class Driverâs license minimum.

• Strong decision-making capability along with ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to lead, influence and motivate.
