Learning & Development Advisor

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Learning & Development Advisors for an immediate start, FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster to the Pilbara.

This role is a great opportunity to develop your strong learning and project management skills whilst engaging a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Superintendent L&D.

Duties will Include:

  • Planning, coordinating and facilitating annual Manager LNA workshops through understanding the wider business context, influencing and stakeholder engagement.

  • Executing Superintendent 90 day capability development reviews, providing insights and analytics.

  • Providing analytical input on OJT development load and OJT ratios to the annual workforce planning process for Managers.

  • Engaging new Supervisors, Superintendents, Managers and GMs on the purpose of the L&D model, L&D framework (LMF), L&D systems and L&D priority deliverables.

  • Partnering with the business to understand its strategic plans/priorities and guide the Assets through the efficient navigation of the LMF.

  • Identifying opportunities for development and rationalisation of systems and the adoption of a common / consistent approach to learning.

Requirements of the Role Include:

  • Minimum of 5 years prior experience within a similar position

  • Capability to manage projects that meet the needs of the business.

  • Good understanding of application of adult learning principals, willingness to be open to changing learning and development techniques including the use of technology.

  • Well-honed investigative skills with the ability to coach, engage and influence at all levels.

  • Business acumen, experience in data analysis and providing insights with a strong attention to detail.

  • Exposure to a Mining, Resource, Rail or Heavy Industrial Environment - Highly Regarded

  • Current C Class Driver's License

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
