About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking a Quarry Manager to join Rio Tinto's Brockman Mine Operations Team. FIFO from Perth, 8:6 roster.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all mining activities undertaken follow all relevant statutory regulations and our standards and policies.

  • Supervise and coordinate activities on site.

  • Conduct regular on the job interactions with teams to develop a safe and efficient work culture.

  • Contribute to the HSE system and increase awareness to enable an injury free and environmentally responsible workplace.

  • Ensure key information is updated and stakeholders are kept informed.

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted quarry manager experience in large scale multi pit open cut mines.

  • Proven safety leadership experience, able to coach and mentor team members on legislation.

  • A team player, able to work autonomously as required.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • WA C Class Driver's Licence.
