About the Client

Our client offers one of Australia's largest and most diverse range of equipment and services to the construction and building services industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Fitter on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based at the depot in Laverton (Victoria) but will also be required to complete some on-site works.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

• Comply with all company health and safety policies

• Study drawings, plans, specifications and work orders, to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs

• Perform on-site testing and commissioning on installations

• Perform maintenance and repairs on various equipment and plant

• Complete machine/vehicle inspections, according to company primary standards

• Complete and sign-off quality assurance documents

• Able to travel to various locations, as required to complete daily tasks

What you will need

• Previous and recent experience in a similar role

• Diagnostic, maintenance and repair experience

• Australian Driver's Licence - Manual C Class (minimum)

• Construction White Card

• Australian Trade Certificate

• RIW Card (ideal, but not essential)

• Able to multi-task and prioritise workload

• Basic computer skills
