About the Role

WorkPac is currently recruiting for a new role available for rail servicepersons at 7 Mile as part of the Plant and Automation Team. Ideally, our client Rio Tinto is seeking people with a demonstrated back ground in trade assisting for electrical or mechanical trades however they are open to candidates with some previous mining or industrial background, strong mechanical aptitude and safety attitude.

This role will require you to operate and maintain the automated machine work shop and surrounded fixed plant assets which includes:

• Preventive and breakdown Maintenance on equipment

• Work management system data entry

• Keep the workplace clean and tidy, repair defects as instructed and complete general workshop duties as required

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Manual C class drivers licence

• High Risk Forklift Licence (mandatory)

• Ability to pass a comprehensive physical pre employment medical

• Unlimited right to work in Australia
