• Flexibility for site and shift preferences. Minimum availability 2 days a week preferred. Shifts offered are primarily AM, with occasional PM and nights

WorkPac Health and Social Care are currently seeking experienced RNs to fulfil agency shifts within correctional facilities from Wacol to Spring Creek.The sites available include Arthur Gorrie, Brisbane Correctional Centre, Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre, Wolsten Men's Correctional Centre, Borallon Correctional Centre and Southern QLD Correctional Centre - Soon to include the new men's facility in Laidley.

As a WorkPac RN working in Prison Health your role will include completing medication rounds, delivering wound care management and primary health care services. This is quite an active role with all corrections specific training providedfor successful candidates. You will need to be able to obtain a QLD Corrections Clearance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years as an RN(Australia)

• ED or corrections experience advantageous

• Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA

• Current First Aid and ALS Certification (ALS available through orientation)

• Current National Police Clearance

• Influenza Vaccination Evidence

• COVID Vaccination Evidence

• Work rights in Australia

• Must have own transport and drivers licence
