Reliability Coordinator -Port Kembla

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Reliability Coordinator who is reliable person with a solid commitment to working safely, driven to achieve and enjoy contributing to our team's success. Day to day duties could include consulting with stakeholders, reviewing and analysing our maintenance data. On other days you could be designing and implementing various solutions to improve our plant reliability onsite or providing our staff with specific plant training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of plant equipment and technology with a strong focus on high-capacity electric forklifts/vehicles,

  • Understanding and excellent working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis,

  • Tertiary or Trade qualifications in a relevant field such as Electrical or Mechanical Trades,

  • Experience with data analysis and reliability improvement methodologies,

  • High level of problem-solving skills and initiatives,

  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills,

  • Advanced MS office skills,

  • Understanding of large-scale maintenance management systems (e.g. JDE/SAP).

  • Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Analyse planned and unplanned maintenance activities within the business division,

  • Implement improvements in maintenance practices and strategies,

  • Complete Root Cause Analysis reports,

  • Coordinate customer approval and sign off of new equipment specifications,

  • Provide onsite training and technical support to customers and Bis, in particular for electric units and new technologies,

  • Provide feedback and reporting to customers on equipment servicing, damage, failures and repairs,

  • Identify process deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner,

  • Review critical spares inventory, and optimise stock holdings and supply chain,

  • Assist with investigating incidents including closing out and report preparation,

  • Work independently and unsupervised as required to meet business goals/targets,

  • Demonstrated commitment to our goal of Zero Harm (for our people, our equipment and the environment),

  • Commitment to all site safety standards and requirements.

Applicants will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
