About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Reliability Engineer (Specialist) to join our leading mining client based in Brisbane or Mackay, on a Monday to Friday Roster (40 hours per week). The Specialist Reliability will be responsible for leading tactics and strategy development for autonomous haulage assets using FMECA and RCM principles for a project based in Brisbane. This position will be for an initial 5 month duration, with potential for extension and will involve occasional adhoc travel to site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertake FMEA, cost and availability assessments for autonomous assets to identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices

• Assess and prioritise equipment based on criticality, lifecycle and historical data

• Review master data, engineering designs and other information to establish equipment details

• Conduct workshops with maintenance personnel to populate FMECA and Corrective Action information

• Support planning and master data personnel to develop tactics in CMMS

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary degree in engineering or similar with relevant industry experience

• Thorough understanding of FMECA, RCM and RCA processes

• Ability to perform measured and accurate work across all depth levels, from high level assessments to detailed equipment specific failure analysis

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to work from Brisbane CBD office location

• A team-focused approach with strong communication skills

• Current Drivers Licence

  Experience preferred but not mandatory includes:

• Previous experience in mining industry

• Knowledge of SAP, MineStar, Komtrax, DAS Systems

• Experience with technology

• Experience with Mobile equipment fleets
