• Based near Blackwater

About the Role

We are looking for a Safety Advisor for an on going to permanent role near Blackwater. Your will hold key relationships with Supervisors /Superintendents/ Managers/Crew Co Ordinator's and Trainer Assessors.

Your purpose will be toAssist site management team maintain compliance with the SHMS. Assist Supervisors and employees with incident investigations, development ,maintain accurate records, complete internal audits of safety systemsto name a few.

To be successful for this role you will hold:

• ICAM Lead Investigator

• RIIRIS301A Apply Risk Management Processes. (S1)

• RIIOHS301A- Conduct Safety and Health Investigations (S2)

• RIICOM301A Communicate Information (S3)

RIIRIS402A Implement and Maintain the Risk Management Process (G2)

• Generic Surface Induction.

• Current QLD Coal Board Medical.

• Current open drivers license

• Senior First Aid Certificate.

• Desirable - Degree or Diploma in anassociated discipline.

• Working knowledge of the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations

You must haveexperience inthe performance of safety coordination within a mining environment or similar industry,

• Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and injury management within a mining environment or similar industry, experience in delivering presentations to small teams.

The Roster is a 9-day fortnight, 5:2,4:3, 10hrs-Day shift, Max 45 Hrs per week. A Bus is available from Rocky and Yeppoon and this position will be ongoing to perm for the right person.
