WorkPac are seeking a Safety Advisor on behalf of a world leader in installations of automated racking systems for supranational manufacturers. This is a full-time permanent position for the West Sydney based location. The successful candidate will manage safety requirements onsite for the Coles Distribution Centre project based in Erskine Park, NSW

Key Responsibilities

Project Scope: installation of racking and conveyor systems.

• Managing safety on site.

• Liaising with direct employees, labour hire and contractors.

• Developing SWMS for scope of works

• Managing incidents, hazards and investigation close outs.

• Assist with compliance with WHS laws

• Incident investigations

• Hazard & risk safety observations

• Assist with claims management and return to work programs

• HSE compliance reporting

• Conduct pre-start meetings & toolbox talks

• Be involved in onsite inductions for new employees & contractors

• Carrying out machinery & equipment inspections for safe use
