Safety Coordinator
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, efficient and compliant aerodrome. The position reports hazards and facility unserviceability issues to minimise the risk to aviation safety.
About the Role:
Fulltime Hours
3- month contract
$45 per hour
Based in Sunshine Coast
Key Responsibilities:
Risk assessments
Reporting hazards, incident and statistics
Incident investigations both internally and externally (airport stakeholders and passengers)
Ensure compliance of contractor inductions on site
Registers, risk, hazard, incident reports
Maintenance of safety management system
Respond to incidents
Ensure compliance in accordance with Airport and CASA regulations
Stakeholder management with AFP, Border force, QLD Health, local emergency services
Review and maintain SOPs
Mandatory Qualifications:
Cert IV - WHS
ICAM Certificate - highly regarded
