About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to join Rio Tinto's Rail Maintenance Excellence Team. The role is based in Dampier and offered as either residential or FIFO.

This position is responsible for the alignment and scheduling of all Rail Network Maintenance and Rail Network Renewal work programs, and accountable for the preparation and development of weekly Gantts, work packs and all documentation to successfully execute planned work. The scheduling role is fundamental in supporting the successful integration of all maintenance activities conducted on the rail network.

Key Responsibilities will include

Create and deliver a quality weekly schedule Gantt

Ensure all tasks are aligned to IMS and GLM obstruction rules,

Facilitate scheduling meetings and ensure they are minuted and actions are completed in a timely manner

Complete work packs and handovers

Work through obstruction escalations and change requests at T5/T1

Review opportunities to utilise spare resource capacity???s

Ensure all outstanding actions are completed by the end T2

Ensure signal support is confirmed by the end of T2

Ensure weekly schedules follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Skills & Experience Required

Advanced knowledge and understanding of work management fundamentals

Ability to facilitate large stakeholder meetings

Minimum one year scheduling or planning experience

Minimum one year rail experience

Microsoft suite experience

Minimum one year SAP experience
