In partnership with our leading construction client within their Capital Works department, WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to commence immediately for a casual 6 month position, with potential to extend. This position will be on a Monday to Friday roster, 40 hours per week. This position is for a 200 Million Dollar Pipeline, and will hold responsibility of a 20 Million Dollar Package.

Duties:

• Ensure project implementation activities for building construction and maintenance projects, including contractual aspects, are effectively coordinated and managed

• Contribute significantly to the development, implementation and review of the business units operational plan, fee levels, performance indicators and actual services and service levels ensuring they closely align with the client's requirements

• Ensure all projects and programs are established to achieve the clients scope, time, cost, cash-flow, and quality requirements andprofitability targets

• In partnership with the Regional District Manager, ensure constant communication mechanisms are effectively implemented across all programs and projects

• Lead negotiations with consultants, local authorities, the client and contractors to ensure value for money solutions are identified and delivered. Utilising experience and professional knowledge to add value to discussions and ensure appropriate stakeholder management is undertaken

• Lead the change process associated with integrating all customer facing roles within the Client and Program management area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior Construction Industry Exposure

• 5+ Years prior experience as a Residential Estimator

• Full Covid Vaccination status is required
