Join a global leader in the iron ore mining sector Perth based, working Monday to Friday 6 months+ contract About The Role WorkPac are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join Rio Tinto's Mine Productivity team in Perth. Duties & Responsibilities Lead mining engineering initiatives, ensuring timely delivery. Implement initiatives for optimising mine productivity. Prepare budgets, forecasts and mine plans and schedules. Analyse progress and produce data reports. Stakeholder engagement. Skills & Experience Degree qualified in Mining Engineering. Thorough knowledge of open pit mining operations and planning. Analytically minded and able to identify potential areas of improvement and solutions to operational issues. Able to liaise with stakeholders and work closely with them to achieve outcomes. Strong understanding of business improvement principles, and an aptitude for identifying and instigating efficiency optimisation opportunities. C| Job title: | Senior Mining Engineer |
