Sentry Workers and Trades Assistants â Expressions of Interest

• 12 hours shifts with a mixture of day and night shifts

• Located in Roxby Downs

• Casual pay rate of $42.67 per hour

About the Role
Workpac are seeking expressions of interest for Sentry Workers and Trades Assistants to assist our client (BHP) based at Olympic Dam mine site near Roxby Downs SA.

Duties & Responsibilities
Sentry duties include:

• Monitoring and Gas Testing confined space areas

• Ability to read, understand, develop and implement quality work instructions and permits to work

• Quality control driven with strong attention to detail 

• Ability to work in a team and autonomously

Trades Assistant duties include:

• Enter confined space areas as required

• Work at heights as required

• Operate or spot EWPâs as required

• Assist trades teams safely

• Hosing tanks and general house keeping

• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures

Skills & Experience

• Essential: National Confined Space Entrant

• Preferred: National Gas Testing Qualifications including standby skill sets

• Preferred: National Working at Heights

• Preferred: High Risk EWP (Elevated Working Platform)
