About the Role

An ongoing opportunity exists for experienced Shot Firer for the Geko Gold project, located 35 minutes from Coolgardie. You will be associated with the safe and secure operation of all shot firing duties on site, including running shots, setting up blast zone clearances, the safe operation of mobile manufacturing units, responsible for ordering and correct storage, handling and transportation of explosives on site.

Skills and Experience

• 1 + years experience as a Shot Firer

• WA issued Shotfirers Licence

• WA issued Dangerous Goods Security Card

• High Risk Licence highly regarded

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• Pre-employment Medical- Less than 3 months

• Drug and Alcohol- Less than 3 months

• National Police Clearance- Less than 12 months
