• $36/hour with penalties

• 10-11-hour days (Monday to Friday)

• Quarterly retention bonuses

Bonus structure

• $2,000 after 6 months

• Additional $1,500 after 9 months

• Additional $1,500 after 12 months

About our client

Originally launching in NSW, this company has recently opened a brand-new yard in Acacia Ridge (QLD) where they are involved in the production of various concrete structures including balustrades, wall panels, flooring, and seating. They are currently seeking Steel Fixers to move into an ongoing role and have quarterly retention bonuses on offer.

What you will be doing

As a steel fixer you will be required to place and tie steel, add attachments, grout tubes and assist with concreting duties at times. You will be required to work 10-hour days, Monday -Friday.

Key Duties

• Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh

• Laying out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework

• Hoisting steel bars, mesh, and reinforcements into place

• Fixing steel bars and mesh to solid concrete bases

What you will need

• White card

• Previous steel fixing experience

• Ability to complete labour intensive tasks
