About the Client

Our client is a company that delivers innovative and sustainable global shipping and logistics solutions for manufacturers of cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and specialised cargo and are looking for a mechanical assembler to join the team.

What you will be doing

As a Store Person you will play a vital role in our warehouse team. Working Monday to Friday, your role in our Warehouse will be to receive, prepare and dispatch products that cover a range of industries including Heavy Automotive and Agricultural Parts. Your main duties are below.

• Picking, packing of stock, receiving, checking, dispatching, and sorting of products and orders

• Ensure daily customer KPIs are met with regards to order preparation, picking, packing, and shipping

• Loading and unloading of trucks, containers as required by hand or with a MHE (forklift, pallet jack, etc)

• Delivery of parts to and from the Laverton Facility utilising the company owned truck (Isuzu)

• Operating company forklifts ensuring safety is always maintained

• Perform accurate stock control, ensuring systems are updated and maintained as required

• Support Supervisor in managing stock levels, notifying, and reporting any stock loss/damage as soon as possible

What you will need

• Experience in warehousing or similar position.

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Forklift license - essential.

• Drivers license - preferred.
