We require an experienced Material Handler/Store Person that can apply their knowledge and experience to manage both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the stores inventory records. This will role will also involve you being a bit of Trades Assistant and helping out in the workshop.
Your passion and experience in all things stores is essential. Your job will include:
Loading and unloading of goods manually and with the use of a forklift
Receive and control the safe storage and issue/dispatch goods
Verify inwards goods documentation, local and international
Picking of Assembly and Sales Orders
Conduct internal transfers and arrange transport as required
Assist with stock take
Maintaining bin locations and update as required
Maintain clean and tidy warehousing practices
Perform deliveries and pick ups as required
Assisting our Pump Technicians in painting and cleaning of pumps and parts
Other stores, workshop and related administrative duties as required
About You
We want a person who is passionate about stores and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. A positive attitude and great work ethic are essential.
Itll be expected that you will:
Have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Have a current forklift ticket
Have a current drivers license
Have knowledge in the mining or manufacturing industry
Possess intermediate computer skills
Have current Australian working rights
Be formally qualified in warehousing or administration is desirable
