  About the Role:

  WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Structural Integrity Lead to join the Rio Tinto team in Perth. This role will be a casual ongoing duration and work a Monday to Friday roster.

These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide project lead & structural engineering support services as required

• Assist with the delivery of structural integrity remediation works

• Facilitate the design of any required temporary supports for the execution of the works

• Site inspect and measure RSWs and prepare BOQ???s for future works

• Review monthly PPPC claims

• Assure the conformance to Quality and HSE plans and overseeing workmanship on a day to day basis

• Assist project advisors in assuring conformance to L2RA

• Complete LIF activities including PTHA, CCCFV???s, QSI and checks on the spotlight topic

• Review thickness test reports and review and approve comp plating remediation plans

• Review/ Monitor/ Witness Field Inspection Checklist Items

• Review contractor???s daily timesheets

• Review and approve in field completed RSW???s with the Contractor. Review and Approve Quality Documentation except for Painting QA/QC.

• Review contractor???s construction schedule, 4-week look ahead schedules and shut down schedules

• Attend weekly progress meetings with contractor

• Attend shutdown meetings with site

• Attend shutdown meetings with contractor and walk around as required

• Manage the timely completion of technical queries from the Contractor

• Design reviews of Contractor drawings for replacement items.

• Complete Pre-Shut Walk arounds with the Contractor with focus on Scaffolding required and Services which may impede works;

• Co-ordination with shut planners and supervisors to optimise shut works;

  About You:

• MS Project Knowledge

• Knowledge and ability to understanding requirements of all disciplines ??? Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Civil, Scaffolding, Rigging

• Current C Class Australian Licence

• Full Working Rights in Australia
