About The Client

Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.

What Will You Be Doing

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Supervisor with excellent communication skills for the Production team. As an appointed Supervisor, the role is accountable for monitoring operating techniques and productivity. The role is responsible for the supervision of their appointed crew, including performance- and leave management.

• Be an effective leader and team member by demonstrating a commitment to safety and positive working behaviours;

• Lead production crews to achieve targets in accordance with mine plans and safety, policies, procedures and statutory requirements;

• Have an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business;

• Campaign continuous improvement within the operation.

What You Will Need

• S1,2,3 & G2

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• Current experience as a Supervisor - minimum 2 years.
