Our client is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring all Australians lead fulfilling lives. They provide a range of programs to support people living with disability and mental health issues, including NDIS, icare and private brokerage.

This organisation has been successfully providing support coordination and recovery coaching in the Dubbo and surrounding areas for nearly 2 years. They are now at the point where they are growing the team, allowing them to support more people in the community. They are seeking a full time, Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach (SC-RC) to join them. You will have direct support from the in-situ (SC-RC), who has developed the region and has fantastic working relationships with the clients and service providers throughout the region. There will be ongoing professional development from management which includes NDIS and recovery coaching training. In this role you will be part of a small local team, but part of national team of (SC-RCâS). Even though you will be part of a team, you will also work autonomously managing your own clients and schedule. Generally the hours are 9am-5pm, however there may be some flexibility around start and finish times or working from home on occasion.

Duties will include:

• Working with clients in their homes and communities, that have mental health conditions

• Assisting clients to define their own goals & aspirations in life and helping them implement strategies to reach them

• Providing advice and support on services available to the client through the NDIS

• Support the client to identify their personal goals and desires

• Develop a care plan that meets the clientsâ goals

• Develop and maintain relationships with all service providers

• Provide ongoing reporting on the clientâs progress

• Working with service providers to ensure your clients care needs are met

• Willing to be open to learning and training

• Driving to regional clients once a month (a company car is provided)

What you need:

• Ideally you will have Cert 4 in Mental Health, Disability Services or 1 year working in paid mental health roles

• Preferably NDIS or Local Area Coordinator experience

• A current drivers licence

• National Police Check

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

• COVID Vaccination certificate or medical exemption
