Mechanical Trades Assistant

• $48.20 p/h + penalties

• Glendale NSW location

• Monday to Thursday- 6am-2.30pm and Friday 6am-12pm

• Overtime available

What is the job role?

WorkPac are currently seeking a Mechanical Trades Assistant to work with our client based in Glendale. The role consists of carrying out the repairs and maintenance on all trains.

You will be responsible for:

• Ongoing maintenance and service of Equipment and Machines.

• Providing support to the Mechanical Fitters servicing rolling stock.

Daily task would include:

⢠Wheelsets â inbound, strip and finish

⢠Axle boxes â strip and build

Skills/Qualifications

• A strong commitment to safety and positive attitude.

• Mechanical knowledge and experience are preferred.

• CAT 3 medical or willing to undertake this.

• Strong analytical skills with solutions focus.

• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.

Forklift license would be advantageous.
