About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Technical Compliance Officer for our manufacturing client, based in Gold Coast. Permanent position.

Duties include:

• Assist in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance for a range of clients products

• Develop product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distils technical information

• Develop comprehensive documentation meeting organizational standards

• Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple content

• Assist in determining the needs of end users of technical documentation based on business, customer and legislative requirement

• Write technical direction on product announcements, marketing brochures, advertisements, and marketing specifications.

• Manage, design, develop, streamline and implement processes to ensure compliance with objectives and to follow operational best practice.

• Provide clear and concise communications across the organization as required to ensure all management, functional and other team members are aligned with Compliance Project requirements.

• Engaging with key stakeholders across the company

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years experience in a technical writer and/or compliance role

• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

• Technically and mechanically minded

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Understanding and ability to use 3D modeling software

• Experience using Autodesk Inventor

• Strong writing and reporting skills

• Knowledge of Steel Manufacturing (preferred)
