Technicians??? Expressions of Interest

• Roster of 7:7, 12 hours shifts with a mixture of day and night shifts

• Located in Roxby Downs

• Casual pay rate of $42.67 per hour

About the Role

We are currently looking for Production Technicians across all departments at Olympic Dam site for our client BHP, local to the town of Roxby downs. We regularly supply areas such as the Smelter/Acid Plant/Refinery/Gold Room/ Hydro/SX/Mills/DESAL/Core Farm/Fixed plant - both surface and Underground departments year-round, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure in mining with these entry level roles.

What you will be doing:

• Routine Plant Monitoring

• General Plant Maintenance

• Sample taking from tanks

• Isolating parts of the plant as required

• Hosing tanks and general house keeping

• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures safely

• Able to read and understand work instructions - Training provided

What you will need:

• Essential: Reasonable amount of fitness

• Working well within a team but self sufficient enough to conduct sample runs alone

• Strong safety awareness/commitment

• Desirable: OD site experience or similar

• Desirable: Forklift, Confined space Entrant, EWP and Working at Heights qualifications

• Advantageous : Gas Testing, Dogging, Bridge & Gantry Crane experience
