What You Wil Be Doing

WorkPac islooking for an experienced Communications Technician to work at Rio Tinto's Brockman 2 mine site. Your duties will include;

• Carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs of all site communication components including UHF radios, CCTV and WI-FI systems

• Stake holder liaison with a focus on customer care

• Assist a team of mining systems technicians where required

• Identity improvement opportunities

• Use SAP to raise notifications and maintenance activities

What You Will Need

• Trade qualification in Radio Communications or Electronic Communications

• Experience working with UHF is essential

• Demonstrated experience with LTE, CCTV & Radio Systems in a mining environment

• A good understanding of IP based protocol

• C class manual drivers licence
