About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to commence at a role for a local client in Mackay. You will be working in an ongoing role in Mackay with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• A "hands on" attitude.

• The ability to work independently.

• Also work well with others in a team environment.

• Be able to solve problems on the go.

• Able to use a variety of power tools.

• Stripping engines from Locomotives, greasing, sand blasting and painting.

Skills and Experience:

• High risk license (Forklift Operator)

• Experience with Mechanical work desirable

• Experience in mining/production/manufacturing industry

• Rolling Stock experience desirable

• Reliable and Hardworking

• Must be a team player with strong inter-personal skills
