About the role:

Workpac are seeking a Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our client based in Welshpool. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a mechanical interest or background to gain valuable experience. You'll be working Monday to Friday with a competitive base pay of $34 per hour plus penalties. No qualifications are required, and on-site training will be provided.

What you will be doing:

• Maintenance on Dozers and Large Mining Vehicles: Assist in the maintenance of heavy machinery, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

• Mechanical Background Preferred: While qualifications are not required, a mechanical background is preferred to excel in this role.

• Servicing and Repairs on Vehicles/Larger Mining Vehicles: Help with servicing and making necessary repairs to keep vehicles and mining equipment operational.

• On-Site Training Provided: We value continuous learning and will provide you with the training you need to succeed in this role.

Requirements:

• Drivers Licence

• Trade Assistant background

• Forklift ticket preferred
