Complete a Certificate III Supply Chain Operations    About the Role  In partnership with our Client, WorkPac is seeking applicants who are innovative & progressive thinkers, skilled in computer software, and strong problem solvers for a new and exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Operator traineeship in the mining industry. As a successful candidate, you will undertake a 24-month Certificate III Supply Chain Operations Traineeship at our client's open cut coal operations in the Singleton area. We are looking for a candidate who is available to work on the day shift roster Monday through Friday. As you train into the mining industry, you will enjoy permanent employment and accrue full time leave entitlements.      What you will be doing  Participate in a 24-month traineeship  Provide problem-solving assistance  Use the programs and software available on the site  Entering accurate inventory and logistical data  Assist with maintaining product schedules and avoid supply issues.  Work a minimum of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday  As you complete your training, you'll work in a friendly, compassionate team environment  Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to work health and safety policies  Complete modules associated with the Certificate III in Supply Chains Operations course; this includes 14 units.    What you will need  Be eager to learn and understand the supply chain industry with an enthusiastic attitude  be a good listener who can follow instructions and direction  The ability to communicate verbally as well as in writing  Current Full Drivers Licence with a reliable vehicle  Provide a residential address located within 1hr drive from Singleton  Ability to pass a NSW Coal Board Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol Test  Have a good understanding of basic administrative tasks and good computer-based abilities  A commitment to the Traineeship requirements, including module assessments and training-based activities  Can do attitude, commitment to attend shifts as rostered and willingness to learn  Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply!    About WorkPac  WorkPac is Australia's leading, privately owned recruitment provider to the mining, construction, engineering, light industrial and healthcare sectors.
