About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for an immediate start. This position is located in Wangara, WA.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Manager oversees our clients safe & efficient warehousing & distribution operations, including safety, picking & packing of orders, receipting, storage, despatch & plant management within the warehouse. Providing leadership and training to the warehouse team.

You will also liaise with Administration, Engineering, Sales, Site Services, Freight Providers and Customers to ensure DIFOT is met. You will oversee the management of the Integrated Management System ensuring all reporting requirements the for annual audit are carried out in a timely manner by all departments.

Duties and responsibilities;

• Coordination & planning of daily work loads to ensure efficient use of team

• Run daily toolbox meeting including safety share

• Liaise with Administration, Sales, Engineering, Site Services to ensure customers requirements are communicated to the warehouse

• Review daily picks based on urgency

• Regularly review procedures

• Raise NCRs, Incidents, OFIs in Skytrust

• Plan warehouse efficiencies by reviewing previous periods output making changes where required

• Attend to customer issues such as short supply, over supply

• Attend to QC issues

• Liaise with Multotec SA and Brisbane

• Warehouse Team supervision, issues & mentoring

• Raising purchase orders for warehouse requirements

• Review warehouse spending on a regular basis

• Booking material handling & warehouse utes for servicing

• Planning & overseeing stock takes

• Problem solving

Skills & Experience

• Proven management experience within a similar position

• Good communication skills, time management and organisational skills

• Ability to foster team work and empower others

• WA C Class Drivers Licence

• Fork Lift Licence
