About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Warehouse Manager for a permanent opportunity in Lytton. You will be required to work Monday-Friday, managing a medium sized team within a reputable company in the Building Supplies Industry. You must be self-driven with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in Managerial positions within the Warehousing industry. The successful candidate with be responsible for but not limited to being fully responsible for safe working practices, managing staff and performance management, managing inductions and recruitment along with ensuring all standards and daily productivity is met.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager (Minimum 5-10 years)

• High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) is ideal

• Drivers license with reliable transport

• Proven ability to write & implement SOPs independently

• Proven experience managing staff from recruitment to disciplinary management

• Motivated with a Hands on attitude

• Strong leadership skills

• Confident using computers & Microsoft Office

• Sound knowledge & understanding of the distribution industry including experience with stock takes

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment & work well under pressure

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
