Warehouse Team Leader:

• Newman location

• Permanent position

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm

About the Role:

Our valued client is seeking an Experienced Warehouse Team Leader for a permanent position, based in Newman.

The successful applicant will have strong customer service experience, goods receiving, despatch, pick and pack, team management with a strong commitment to safety and mentoring the team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the safety agenda by ensuring self and team understand, adhere to, and work towards meeting their HSE Responsibilities

• Induct all new employees, ensuring that all WIS induction processes are followed and that new starters are provided with ongoing support and training.

• Conduct performance development planning with all employees to clearly identify performance targets, as well as opportunities for career development and succession planning. Annually review and rate employee performance and use these ratings to help determine appropriate remuneration review.

• Lead, motivate, develop and coach employees by providing clearly defined tasks and giving adequate feedback to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Lead position

• Team management experience, setting and exceeding KPIs.

• 5 years experience in Warehouse Management, mentoring staff, performance reviewing HSE

• Current HR drivers licence, forklift licence

• Mining experience desirable
