a leading provider in waste management solutions, dedicated to environmental. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Plant Operator to join the team in Artarmon and in Belrose

What you will be doing

If successful you will be required to work Monday to Friday starting at 7am, You will need a good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work and a commitment to safety. Someone that is Self-motivated with a Wiliness to assist co-workers as required is highly regarded. The successful candidate will need to have a mechanical aptitude - Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating earthmoving equipment i.e. excavators, bulldozers, forklift

• Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

• Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading of waste or other materials

• Excavate, load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other materials) to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations

• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

• General housekeeping duties

What you will need

• Excavator Ticket

• Roller Ticket

• Forklift Licence

Desirable

• Heavy Combination (HC)

• Experience operating a left-hand drive vehicle

• Experience in the waste industry
