About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our client, Rio Tinto located in Ranger Mine for a 6 month duration with the possibility of extension. The right candidate will be responsible for operating up to 3 separate plants treating a capacity of 22ML water per day.

Responsibility for running of the plant
Handling chemicals
Water sampling and testing

Experience in Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant operations
Sound knowledge of safe chemical handling
Knowledge of water chemistry in relation to treatment
Experience in water sampling and testing
Sound knowledge of valve and piping systems
Ability to read and interpret P?s
Valid driver?s licence
Forklift licence and relevant mechanical skills an advantage
Experience in RO water treatment plant operations
Sound knowledge of safe chemical handling

Experience in water sampling and testing
