We invest time in creating a recruitment process that helps you determine if we are right for you, and if you are right for us.
Step one: Application Screening
Our talent managers assess the skills and experience outlined in your resume against role criteria. In most circumstances you will receive a phone call within 72 hours of receiving your application. When high volumes of applications are received this may take a little longer, however, you will be contacted by our internal team.
This phone call will advise whether or not you have been successful in proceeding to the next step.
Step Two: Phone Interview
At this stage, you will be asked a selection of questions relevant to the role. This is a great opportunity for you to put us to the test and ask any questions you may have of The WorkPac Group or the role!
Your phone interview will be conducted by our talent support team and takes approximately 30 minutes.
Step Three: First Round Face-to-Face Interview
If we are looking like a great match after the phone interview, you will be invited to meet with a member our talent support team face-to-face or via Skype. The interview will include behavioural/competency based questions and/or role playing scenarios.
Your interview will take approximately one hour.
Step Four: Psychometric Testing
These assessments are job relevant and provide insight into your likely future job performance, organisational commitment, job satisfaction and work and safety behaviours. Depending on the role type, extra testing may be required to provide insight into your approach to leadership and communication.
Step Five: Second Round Face-to-Face Interview
Here you will meet the hiring manager face-to-face to determine cultural fit and to see if we are the kind of team you can see yourself happily working with. There is a possibility to meet potential colleagues and view your working premises.
The timeframe for this step is dependent on your, and the hiring manager’s, availability. The interview itself will take approximately one hour.
Step Six: Pre-Employment Checks
If we are looking like a perfect match we will conduct reference checks from a minimum of two past employers before we present you with an employment offer.
Step Seven: Formal Offer of Employment and Contract
Here we will provide you with a mutually beneficial offer to join our team. If you choose to accept this offer you will be sent our employment agreement to review, sign and return.
