A05 Return To Work Coordinator

About the Role

You will manage rehabilitation and return to work cases for our client by providing quality and professional advice and support to all stakeholders. Our client is a government department responsible for effective infrastructure, maintenance and construction projects throughout Queensland.

Key Duties

  • Regular reporting on cases

  • Guide and assist the department by creating return to work plans and programs

  • Assist within claims management processes through WorkCover

  • Work in conjunction with external stakeholders across non-work-related claims relevant to the department

  • Claims Management and processing partial hours

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

  • Proven track record in a return to work position

  • 3+ years in a mobilisation or case management role

  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety & Workers Compensation legislation

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.

  • Practical knowledge effective, and sustainable Injury Management practices, including the importance of early intervention strategies and the positive health benefits of recovery at work
