About our Client:

Rio Tinto's Argyle Diamond Mine has been one of the world's premier diamond producers for the last 26 years in the West Australian mining industry.

About the Role:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Refrigeration Technicians for work in the Kimberly area at Argyle Diamonds Mine.

FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kununurra on a 7:7 roster working Day & night Shift 10-12 hour days, this role is expected to go for a period of 4 months.

The role of a refrigeration mechanic is to provide safe, high quality maintenance and repairs to all onsite Air Condition and Refrigeration equipment and to support the infrastructure and other maintenance teams as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs under breakdown conditions to all Infrastructure Air Conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking a candidate who has a minimum of 4 years experience and a good working knowledge of ice machines, split system air conditioners, cool rooms, freezer rooms and all refrigeration equipment.

-Australian Trade Certificate

-WA Electrical Licence - Fitter/Mechanic

-A Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning

-Full WA Manual Drivers Licence

-Ability to provide a National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain)

-Rights to work in Australia

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full pre-employment medical including a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol screen before placement.
