We are currently seeking reliable candidates who are passionate about providing high-quality garden maintenance services to join our team working on various council projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door within the Council space or for a current Council worker looking for their next opportunity.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven background in either Horticulture or Arboriculture and be experienced in weed control and brush cutting. You should have strong plant identification skills and be able to demonstrate broad-acre maintenance experience. You must be able to use all relevant tools and equipment required for garden and tree maintenance and be able to work unsupervised, showing initiative and self-motivation. A strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to safety are also essential requirements for this role.

We are looking for someone who is fit and healthy and who holds Safety First as a high priority. You will have a very strong work ethic and demonstrate behaviour consistent with the corporate values. While a Certificate III in Horticulture/Arboriculture is not essential, it will be highly regarded. Power Tool Experience is also necessary, and a Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket and MR Licence would be desirable.
