About the Role:
We have an opportunity for a Capability Development Advisor with Rio Tinto at Paraburdoo. The successful candidate will work a 8/6 roster. This role is a great opportunity to leverage your strong operational background and develop project management skills whilst engaging a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities will include:
Be responsible for on-site onboarding
Execute capability development reviews, providing insights and analytics, in particular focused on License to Operate (LTO) and HRW License VOC status including training schedules to support reduction in debt and ongoing management of required VOCs
Perform Contractor Management duties for vendor-led training on site
Providing analytical input for on-the-job trainer (OJT) development, including mentoring, capability uplift and qualifiable outcomes
Engaging new operational leaders around Learning Management Framework (LMF) systems, CD Strategy, and priority deliverables
Partnering with the business to understand its strategic plans/priorities and guide key stakeholders through the efficient development of new learning assets
Identifying opportunities for development and rationalisation of systems and the adoption of a common / consistent approach to learning
Skills & Experience Required:
This role is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to develop their influencing, coaching and teaching skills.
To be successfully considered for this role you will have:
Construction background
Strong communication skills which include, but is not limited to, effective facilitation skills
Proven ability to influence stakeholders
Proven experience with adhering to safety standards, policies, and procedures
Capability with recognising improvement opportunities and implementing change
A high level of computer literacy with MS Office, systems and applications
