About Our Client

Our client is a leading coal producer, providing essential products for the production of affordable, reliable energy and steel. Their commitment to sustainability underpins everything they do while also shaping their future strategy. Their sites within the Peabody Coppabella & Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) are located at Moorevale which is southwest of Mackay and is a Surface Mine utilizing a Dragline, Dozer and Truck & Shovel method.

They are seeking Multi skilled Operators, for various departments at their Coppabella based operations. Ideally, we are seeking those with strong Electrical & Mechanical experience.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will be operating a variety of Electric or mechanical,Trucks, Loaders, Dozers,Graders etc. Although a Multi-Skilled role there will be a large amount of Dump Truck Operating. You will be working a 7/7 rotating day/night roster. Roles are available for Residential and DIDO or BIBO Operators. DIDO roles will have Camp Supplied. This role will be part of a 7/7 roster working 12.5hr shifts, days and nights with meals and accommodation provided.

What You Will Need

• Previous mining experience within a Coal Mining setting

• Experience operating dump trucks with a minimum skill of Mechanical/Electric Trucks + two other skills such as Dozer + Grader + Excavator Loader.

• Standard 11

• Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this

• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia

• Online Inductions/SOPs Completed
