Located Newlands from the town of Newlands, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading, responsible client with a track record of excellence in supplying high quality coal.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Dozer Operator at Newlands Mine, you will play a pivotal role in our mining rehab operations, facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of materials. You will be required to work a 7/7 days only roster. You will have experience in Dozer operations in a Civil environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely and skilfully operating a variety of machinery on site adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.

• Focused on creating and maintaining project contours and grades, essential for project preparation and finishing task.

• Conducting pre-start checks, routine inspections, and reporting any equipment defects or issues promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 12 months experience as an operator in a mining or heavy industry environment.

• Current and valid Queensland Coal Board medical and Standard 11 Induction certifications (or willing to obtain).

• Competency in operating Dozers - D8-D10 preferred
