• $38.73 per hour base rate + penalties

About the Client

Operating since early 2014, our client has a strong focus on delivering traffic infrastructure and electrical reticulation projects throughout Queensland looking after both metropolitan and regional areas. They are currently seeking an experienced Civil Foreman for a project that has commenced on Mons Road in Forest Glen. You will initially commence on the Mons Road project for 6-8 weeks and then will transfer to the Bruce Highway Smart Motorways upgrade on night shift based in Caboolture.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday - Friday commencing at 6.30am working 8-10 hour days. You will then transfer to a Sunday - Thursday roster commencing at 6.30pm working approximately 8-10 hour nights. There is a minimum of six months' work based on site with the potential to be ongoing with the company. You will be responsible for overseeing a crew of 3-4 people, you will be required to reinforce safety, monitor quality of work and drive crew productivity on site. If you have an understanding of TMR specifications, earthworks or concreting it would be an advantage.

What you will need

• Current resume with 2 x work related references

• Construction white card

• A minimum of six months experience as a Leading Hand

• Previous experience managing a small crew

• MR Licence, Excavator or Skid Steer ticket would be an advantage but not mandatory

• Previous experience working in a civil site

• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to a minimum of six months work
