About The Client:
WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Crane Operators for a major construction contract for the Rio Tinto Western Range Project at their Paraburdoo site. The project will include Greenfields & Brownfields scope with the construction of a new Run of mine pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit and modification to coarse ore stockpile and downstream, conveying system. Successful candidates will work a 2:1 roster until February 2024 then change to 3:1 roster.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for the safe operation of various cranes, including C1 Rough Terrain 80T, CO - 81T - 180T, and CO Crawler 280T. Your role will involve ensuring all lifts are within load limit and correctly rigged .
During period where the crane is not in use due to weather or mechanical maintenance/failure, you will perform tasks outside of your main operating duties.
What You Will Need
Slewing Mobile Crane Licence C2, C6, C1 or C0
Minimum of 3 years experience operating cranes
Hold a current High Risk Work Licence
White Card
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable working away 3 weeks at a time
Previous experience within the mining and resources sector
Ability to mobilise ASAP
